Creative Innovators Project is a hands-on creative problem-solving club where students learn to think outside the box, work as a team, build with real materials, and bring big ideas to life — through challenges, workshops, community events, and Odyssey of the Mind competition teams.

What is Creative Innovators?
Confidence, creativity, and real-world problem-solving — built one challenge at a time.
Kids don't get handed the answers here. Coaches ask questions, put materials on the table, and get out of the way. Students own the problem and the solution — and discover what they're capable of.
Creative problem-solving
Open-ended challenges with no single right answer. Divergent thinking, brainstorming, testing, pivoting.
Hands-on building
Real tools and real materials — cardboard to cordless drills, costumes to code. Prototype, fail, rebuild.
Teamwork & leadership
Student-led teams learn to listen, compromise, disagree respectfully, and carry real responsibility.
Odyssey of the Mind
International creative-competition teams at Regional, State, and World Finals — plus a no-scoring Primary track.

Programs
A division for every age, K through 12.
K–2nd
Primary
Explore creativity with no scoring — process, play, and confidence. Kids fall in love with their brains and their team.
3rd–5th
Division 1
Teamwork, simple building, performance, and the excitement of a first competition.
6th–8th
Division 2
Complex thinking, stronger teamwork, and advanced building, design, and storytelling.
High School
Division 3
Advanced innovation, leadership, technical skill, project management, and polished solutions.
Try this at home · Vehicle Challenge
Design a vehicle for a passenger who uses a wheelchair.
Think about this
- Do you know someone who uses a wheelchair, or has needed one?
- How do vehicles accommodate a wheelchair today?
- How does the wheelchair get in? How does it stay in place? Is the rider a passenger or the driver?
Your story (30 seconds)
Your passenger is a real person — a grandparent, a neighbor, a friend. They need to get somewhere important today, but the trip isn't easy. Who are they? Where are they going? What makes the trip hard?

What ages does Creative Innovators Project serve?
CIP welcomes students from kindergarten through 12th grade. Students are placed in divisions by grade: Primary (K–2), Division 1 (3rd–5th), Division 2 (6th–8th), and Division 3 (high school).
Where do you meet?
We meet at The Village at Vistancia Clubhouse, 29701 N Sunrise Point, Peoria, AZ 85383 — serving families across Vistancia, North Peoria, Surprise, Glendale, and the Northwest Valley.
When does the season run?
The CIP season runs August through May with weekly practices, hands-on challenges, community events, and Odyssey of the Mind competition preparation. Regional tournaments are in February and State in March.
Is CIP a STEM program?
CIP is STEAM at its core — science, technology, engineering, art, and math applied to open-ended problems. Kids build, code, write, perform, and design, and they learn the soft skills (teamwork, communication, resilience) that make hard skills useful.
How much does membership cost, and are scholarships available?
Membership for the 2026–2027 season is $500 per student (or five monthly payments), with family pricing for two or three students and a lower rate for the Primary division. Scholarships are available, and Arizona ESA (ClassWallet) funds are accepted.
